Fill in the Black Sunday

1. One of my happiest moments ever of this summer....
was going to Mexico in May with Justin to celebrate our 6th wedding anniversary.

2. Summer is wedding season and weddings are...
fun for the most part, we have not gone to any this year though.

3. This summer...
has been hot and gone by super fast!

4. My summer food of choice has been...
watermelon and brats

5. My summer uniform has been...
dresses and skirts because it has been so hot.  And my new Sketcher shape up sandals.

6. If I could spend the entire summer in one location I would choose...
at a beach house with Justin and Guido and each week some friends or my parents could visit.

7. My summer anthem is ...
Everybody's Working for the Weekend

Wee Bit of Me Saturday

{one} what is your dream job?
A dream job of mine would be a research scientist

{two} how many best friends do you have?
My husband, my mom, Bonnie, and Lauren

{three} what’s the longest road trip you’ve ever taken?
When I was young, we drove from Tennessee to NY in one day.

{four} if you had to do one single thing every day for the next year, what would it be?
Have 30 minutes a day to relax with Justin and Guido.

{five} what’s one story your family always tells about you?
When I was 19 my dad and I went to the Met's game and it was Tom Sever bobblehead day.  They were only giving them out to 16 and under so I put my hair in pigtales and we went.  The one lady almost did not give me the bobblehead but the security guard told her to.  Tom Sever sits proudly on our tv stand.

{six} how did your parents pick your name?
I think my mom just liked it. There’s really not a story behind it that I know of.

{seven} what’s the one thing that scares you more than anything?
Lots of things scare me.

{eight} are you a good cook?
I try.
{nine} where do you see yourself in 20 years?
Happy with Justin, our kids, probably another cat unless Guido really is the wonder cat.  Hopefully still working where I am but not in the same role of course.

{ten} what’s your best childhood memory?
Family vacations and holidays

Justin's Birthday

Yesterday was Justin's 31st birthday.  Sat night we went to Red Robin for dinner to celebrate.  We had Root Beer Floats, Tower of Onion Rings, I had a 5 Alarm chicken sandwich, and Justin had a Bacon Cheeseburger.  All was very tasty.  Yesterday we did laundry and I secretly made Justin a cake out of Vitamuffin mix.  It is Spongebob!

Independence Weekend

This weekend we went to Peoria for the 4th.  We drove down Sat after work and grabbing some tacos at the ever so delicious Taco Bell.  Sat I went shopping with Justin's mom and him and his dad went to Menards.  We went to Salvation Army and 2 Goodwills.  I got some books for the kids.  Then we had lunch at Panera and went to Grand Prairie to go to Bergners and NY&Co.  I got two nice dresses, shoes, 2 sweaters, and a shirt.  All good deals.  For dinner we went to Cracker Barrel in Morton, then we looked at our Mexico pictures on the tv.  Sunday we hung out a bit before going to Sarah and Joel's for a 4th party.  It was so great seeing everyone and we had a wonderful time!! Here are some pictures:

Sunday night we drove back home and had a Party Pack at Taco Bell.  Monday I took about a 3 hour nap as I was tired from the weekend.  I made yummy stuffed peppers for dinner.
