Phillies versus Brewers

Sunday Justin and I headed up to Milwaukee to go to the Brewers/ Phillies game. No tale gating for us as we were both still sick with colds. We had great seats in section 433, 1st row of the section on the 3rd base side. It started to rain in the 2nd inning but they were able to close the roof and we only had a 7 minute delay. I got to see a former co worker of mine Katrina since I had not seen since my call center days. I also got to meet her fiance Chris. It was great seeing her again and reconnect. The game was great, Italian Sausage won the Sausage race. The Phillies won the game 8-0, we saw on Phillie's home run by Martinez. Chase Utly did not play nor did Ruis but we got to see Ryan Howard! I also finally got my Racing Sausage pennant.

Weekend Wrap Up

This weekend was busy but a lot of fun.  Friday after work, Rebecca and I took the kids to the Grayslake pool for a few hours.  It was pretty nice but turned a bit cold. Poor Owen was miserable in the cold water.  Amelia had lots of fun swimming and playing with her friend. I enjoyed the time there relaxing in the pool and playing with the kids.  Hoping we can do it one more time before the summer ends.
Saturday we cleaned the house because Bonnie and Carter were coming over.  Bonnie brought Carter over to our house for the first time, it was fun. We sat on the floor and played with him a bit. The cats were a bit apprehensive at first. Guido inspected Carter but accidentally got popped in the nose.  Tobi did not know what to think. They pretty much just layed outside the door of the room we were in. Afterwards we picked up Adam and the five of us went to Golden Corral for dinner.

Sunday started out bad as I had migraine number 4 for the month. Argh lets hope these migraines end soon! Mom and dad came over around 2pm. Mom and I went to Goodwill to do a little hunting. Dad and Justin went to Walmart to pick up some stuff.

We went to Mitch's for dinner for some yummy hot dogs and then gilatto. All in all a nice weekend! Here are more pictures from the week/weekend.
